About nǚ shēnɡ  nánshēng

My friends and I had a portfolio analysis class two days ago, in Tuesday precisely. since we were waiting our lecturer, we talked about some random things that was not important really. one of my friends told us that he had a secret crush on our classmates. she was the most beautiful girl in our class based on his opinion. since we cannot attract attention of others, we used this term for her : nǚ shēnɡ. my friend said it means secret crush, so if you are a boy that have secret crush to a girl, this is called nǚ shēnɡ. it means that she is your nǚ shēnɡ. however, for  girls the terms is different. it is called nánshēng, which is means your secret crush for a boy. 

This is a very interesting topic for waiting in class, we laughed out loud because that nǚ shēnɡ of my friend was sitting behind him, which made him cannot stay still. he was getting crazy I believe with starting to talk about her nose, which was very adorable like an artist in his opinion. blaming the lecturer for making us waiting because, this has changed our topic from nǚ shēnɡ to the nǚ shēnɡ's nose. she is a Chinese girl and my friend also a Chinese girl. however this nǚ shēnɡ has a sharp nose, which is according to my friend not the typical of Chinese girl. we were starting to speculate that other friend said that maybe she has a western blood, so she is a half Chinese, and my other friend thought may be she had surgery before. we are really really  bad girls in this kind of time, thinking bad things about another girl we don't even know.

according to my friend, usually girls categorized man into three. firstly, the handsome man, who absolutely handsome, nice, rich and so on. in other words he is perfect, however it is almost impossible to find this kind of man. it was very rare, and it was a miracle if you find one. secondly, the cute one. as its name, this man is not that handsome, maybe also not that rich, but he has a good manner, that's way we think this kind of guy is cute. face is not everything, if you have a good manner, nice personality, and you're fun to talk to then girls would think that you're cute enough. lastly the jerk with monster face. my friend which is a boy give this name. it is a man who doesn't have good look neither behaviour. we don't even know if such a man exist. he such a disaster, based on our opinion. there is a term in pin yin something like thiaou si (sorry if I'm wrong).

yeah, this gossiping attitude had to come to end because her nánshēng has came, so we have to continue our lesson.  what a good day to learn new words and enhance our horizon about people.
